While serving as a Precious Blood Volunteer you will live in community with other Precious Blood volunteers, priests, brothers, or sisters. You will pray, work, and learn with lay people and religious while living a simple lifestyle that reflects hospitality, reconciliation, and common prayer.
Your ministry as a Precious Blood Volunteer will give you the opportunity to serve people who have been marginalized because of their race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, illness, immigration status or income level. You will walk with Jesus by sharing in the joys and sufferings the people you are working with.
Your experiences as a Precious Blood Volunteer will challenge and deepen your relationship with Jesus. You will have daily opportunities to pray and talk about your faith journey with others. These opportunities include daily community prayer, spiritual direction and meeting with lay people and religious committed to renewal and reconciliation.
As a Precious Blood Volunteer you will share in the mission of all Christians to bring hope to the suffering, reconciliation to the alienated, a sense of community to the lonely, and a deeper faith to all who seek God.
